Pick up and place boxes

The starting point for our customer's automation requirements was an already automated process for palletizing boxes filled with nut packaging. Particularly as a result of dissatisfaction with the previous automation solution, the RobCo robot should offer a safe automation process with the option of flexible and rapid conversion. The aim was to use the desired solution for different payloads of between 4-8kg and to minimize manual work by employees.

The RobCo robot was able to solve the requirements with an automated, reliable and flexible process and the company was able to increase process quality and consistency. The rapid processing of repetitive steps also made it possible to increase cycle times and overnight operation. Even non-experienced robot users and workers can now program the robot and operate it via the clear dashboard.

Our robots can be individually assembled from up to 20 modules. Depending on the configuration, they have a load capacity of up to 20 kg and reach a range of up to 2 m. Robco's industrial robots work with a repeatability of 0.1 mm and a speed of 2 m/s. Our robots are certified according to IP54 protection class and EN ISO 13849-1:2015.

The areas of application for RobCo robots are primarily Machine loading, Pick & Place resp palletizing as well as dispense.
