Our goal was to increase production efficiency and reduce costs in the long term through standardized and automated processes. With RobCo's modular, flexible robot solution, we were not only able to make the best possible use of space in our production, but also to implement a quieter production process. Objective
The aim of the collaboration with RobCo was to establish standardized, efficient and automated processes in production. The focus was in particular on saving personnel resources and working with a regionally based, specialized partner who supports Bempflinger in achieving goals with its expertise.
Starting situation & challenge
Before implementing the RobCo solution, Bempflinger faced the challenge of making palletizing flexible and efficient despite limited space in the production area. In addition, there was the need to handle a wide range of packaging formats due to the broad product portfolio. A variable, location-independent automation solution was urgently needed.
Why RobCo
The modular design of the RobCo robots was decisive for the decision. The solution enables easy expansion and flexible adjustment to different production requirements. The mobile palletizing cell from RobCo was developed specifically for Bempflinger: Based on the proven, stationary cell, it is particularly user-friendly and can be easily used in the event of changing requirements or production lines — without sacrificing the advantages of modularity.
Results of collaboration
With the introduction of the mobile palletizing cell, palletizing production processes were significantly streamlined and standardized. The result was continuous, optimized processes that not only contribute to better planning, but also to reducing production costs.
